Wow, her hair was really long! I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it all. It's still quite lovely looking though. Kenzie should know that she has wonderful hair, and should never take that for granted.
I did the same thing with Katie when she used to cut her hair ALL THE TIME. Even until she was too old to be cutting her hair. I just could never cut it all off.
